Class Description:

Have you longed to do fair isle knitting?  When you looked at a pattern, were you daunted by the idea that you would have to CUT your carefully created stitches?  This is a great way to try out the technique, with very low cost investment in money or time.  Besides that, it’s really fun!  (Other knitters are in awe of those  who can steek!)  Choose one of two projects, the cup cozy or the coaster, and choose either the pattern shown above or a snowflake pattern.   You may enjoy this so much, you’ll make sets for everyone for Christmas!

In the first class, start knitting the stranded work.  Learn how to carry your stitches and keep them nice and relaxed so the finished piece will lay smoothly.  In the second class, hide the loose ends and do the actual steeking and finish work.
